This customer wanted a low-cost solution so they opted out of using patch panel and just wanted us to put male RJ-45 ends on the cable and plug them directly into their switch. At the end-user side, the builder used dual-gang boxes so we had to find a dual gang plate for one single data drop to make it look clean.

When a power supply fails, it's a subtle but known issue on the Nortel Call Pilot 100 voicemail system. We decided it was the best course of action to pursue the cheapest solution and ended up for making one happy customer. If you are in need of phone system repair in Corinth TX please give us a call today and we will be glad to help. Symptoms of a faulty power supply on a Nortel Call Pilot 100 are that the lights are still green as they should be with a good power supply but the voltage does not allow the voicemail to operate or be opened up when calling it's extension ports. I suspect the voltage is to low and will not open up the voicemail port switch. Either way, it appears working when it really isn't and that is when we suspect power supply issues. We where happy we could repair this phone system in Corinth TX. Here is what our newest customer had to say: Our Voicemail system went out and we called our phone guys to see if they could come take a look at it. They tried to troubleshoot over the phone and basically said the system is fried. They gave us quotes for a new phone system at $7,000+. They weren't interested in looking at our current system or replacing the piece that they stated was no longer good. We called around and found Clint with Politon Inc. He came out and knew within minutes that is was likely the power source that was out and not our system. He went and got the part and it is now working perfectly. A $75 part! Sadly, our "normal phone guys" were only interested in selling us a new system. Thanks Clint for saving us over $7,000!" Brenda - Corinth Family Medicine & Pediatrics

We went on-site and tested 8 strands of single-mode fiber optic cable. We determined that there was a low loss on several strands so the next steps were to shine a laser down the fiber and look for breaks around the boot of the connector. We did not see anything obvious so we decided to replace the ST connectors on both ends of the low loss fiber. After replacing the connectors we tested again achieving passing results.

We installed over 1000 feet of armored and unarmored OM3 Fiber Optic Cable through hundreds of feet of EMT conduit, fully implementing a solution that seamlessly connected all five buildings of the Private School's campus. We also installed a new network cabinet that enabled the customer to secure their network equipment in a space that was only accessible to authorized personnel. The customer was pleased with our solution and we have since completed two more projects for Denton Calvary Academy.

We went on-site and installed a new fiber optic ST connector on a spool of fiber that was used by the media department for sports events. We ended up going back on-site to fix this connector for free. We had to train our contact that on a BNC style ST connector you cannot simply pull the fiber cable off a connector by grabbing the boot. The boot popped off causing the connector to not be as sturdy to protect the fiber. Our tech put on a new ST connector and showed the customer how to push and twist before the connector comes off and not by pulling the connector by the boot only.

The solution we provided was repairing his fiber that he pulled between his barn and his house by fusion splicing new ends on. The issue was he purchased 200 ft LC LC fiber patch cords not meant to be pulled through conduit. These are manufactured to be used in a data closet connecting network switches and are made with very light material never intending for it to be used underground connecting buildings. The issue was all the pre-terminated ends would not make it through the small diameter of the pipe so he cut them all off. We fixed them all but he will have to make dure no one gets into that closet or they could easily damage them. Ideally, he would have called us first or used a solid piece of fiber made to pull underground that would not be so delicate or with ends alreay connected. We get many calls of people trying to pull fiber with perterminated ends.

This was a BYOD (Bring your own device) installation for us with Denton Calvary. The customer had approximately thirty Fortinet Wi-Fi access points that he needed cabled and installed. With the new fiber backbone across the campus, all the Wi-Fi can be linked back to the MDF at 1 Gig connections. This project was challenging because the customer wanted it installed before school started back which meant extremely hot attic spaces. The other challenge is that getting cable to the second floor of some buildings required installing conduit but other than that it went very well and the customer has had us come back on a few smaller projects.

We provided a total network infrastructure solution composed of Cat 6 data cabling, WiFi installation as well as twelve security cameras with an NVR that has 8 TB of storage at there new Lewisville, TX facility. The installation spanned two buildings with WiFi and cameras on the exterior of the building as well as the warehouse and office area. We finished the cabling and WiFi installation then waited for construction to catch up to us so we could install the cameras on the exterior of the building. After the project was complete we helped the customer download the Vivo Cloud app and helped him get logged in to view the cameras with his smartphone. The customer was pleased with the project and asked us if we were interested in building out a new tenant space they are adding on as well. We had two challenges on this project and the first was that we proposed a different brand camera that met their price point but was not NDAA compliant so we used another brand that met these criteria. The second challenge was the general contractor of building the facility who is not associated with my customer's company but was very difficult to work with. It took us a while to figure him out and overcome this obstacle and eventually won him over with think with kindness.

I called to request an estimate to run Cat6 in my home; the representative said they'd connect me with a trusted local residential contractor and forward my contact information so someone can follow up.
