Texas Security Bank has been a long-time customer of ours and we have been fortunate to help them move into three different buildings. This location has about 200 Cat 6 cables and a dozen wifi access points. We installed an MDF and an IDF on another floor with OM3 fiber connecting the two suites. We also installed data drops behind the TVs and HDMI Cat 6 extensions to the conference tables to the TVs as well.

This was a great project for us and had many different installation applications.  This Dallas data cabling job consisted of over 400 cables as well as a fiber optic demarc extension.  We installed six projectors, 6 pull-down screens, ten flat screen tv's with one being an 85" flat screen in the board room.  Some of the tv applications had Cat 6 to HDMI convertors as well as VGA extensions to the projectors.  This Reddy Ice Dallas headquarters had over 13 wifi access points installed around the office and in the boardrooms. Some of the challenges on this project was flex conduit under the slab that fed several cubicle farms had issues that we had to resolve to get our high count of cables into the cubes as well as some design changes that did not make it onto the floor plan version we were working off of. The customer moved over some existing cubicles from their old building which did not have the correct parts initially when installed so we had to wait until they came in for us to finish our part but we had plenty of AV work to do while we waited a few days to complete the baseboards. On another note, we found a new restaurant we ate at several times called Don Taco which is pretty good for street tacos, or a large bowl of Caldo de res which is essentially a beef stew with large chunks of vegetables.  Just wanted to share something in the area that we thought was noteworthy to those working around 635 and Preston road area.

We were contacted because the customer needed a company that could install IP security cameras in Dallas, TX in a multi-family apartment building with a two-level parking garage. We installed 36 IP cameras of three different models, (6) IDF closets with switches and (1) wall mount data cabinet in the MDF room. We installed an HP Server running Exaqvision software. We installed two varifocal lens cameras covering the pool and we installed one quad lens camera in the parking garage that covers four different directions at once. All cabling was Cat6. We ran several hundred feet of conduit down the stairwells for new cameras.

We were asked to help Dominion Bank on Sherry Lane with there data cable installation in Dallas, TX. We installed approximately 60 Cat6 data cables, (1) network cabinet, (3) Ubiquity Access Points and (3) flat-screen TVs with HDMI cables to the wall next to the customer's desk. We did learn a lesson about tv brackets with a built-in level and that is they are not accurate. We ended up using our bullet level for a perfect installation.

After Reddy Ice in Dallas, Texas, had a heat treatment done in their facility, they discovered the treatment got too close to a network panel and melted the faceplate and jacks. They called us, and we were able to respond quickly to replace the faceplate and jacks.

Using the access path from the main cabling run out of the data closet, we were able to get the new cables into the office area and fish them down the walls into position. The tricky part of this job was getting the cables from the data closet to the locations since much of the area near the data closet had solid ceilings. We added the connections and tested to be sure everything was working properly. Another successful job completion.

We had the pleasure of getting to help Avis get their network back up and running at the airport. We suspected it was a fiber optic issue. With some basic troubleshooting, we discovered that someone had hit the boot of the fiber connector breaking the fiber inside the boot. Once we replaced the fiber connector there network came back up.

After arriving on-site, our technician tested the cable with our Fluke DSX-5000 tester. The test result confirmed that the cable met the appropriate standards. To remove any doubt, the technician replaced both ends of the data cable and even replaced the patch cord to cover all points of failure. After a second test, our technician again confirmed that the cable was properly functional. With this information, the customer was able to determine that the issue stemmed from a switch port issue, and the problem was quickly resolved. We enjoy being able to give our customers insight so that the problem-solving process is smooth and efficient. Please contact Politon for all your in-the-field troubleshooting needs!

We installed approximately 450' of 6 strands multi-mode armored cable between there main data room and a smaller data closet across the building. The materials for this project were Corning 1U rack mount fiber trays, Corning 6 strand bulkheads with LC duplex connectors. This Dallas fiber optic installation project was installed with very few issues to overcome. All the strands were certified with an Owl Fiber Optic Certification tool which can upload all the test results for the customer's records. The customer was so pleased they are having us come out on another project to install all new cabling in there repair shop.

Our techs installed fiber cables from the dealership out to the new EV island. We also networked a data cable out to each of the charging stations. Additionally, we installed Wi-Fi for customers to use while charging their cars or using the dog park. We were honored to help our client get the first island up and running.

Our techs repaired 2 strands of fiber optic cable from the basement to the 19th floor. Then we tested and certified them to ensure everything was working properly. This gave the customer a new network connection on some old, damaged fiber cables. Clint was given the opportunity to go out on the deck of the tower. He got to see a new and beautiful view of Dallas. Cool experiences like this are one of the best parts of our jobs! We love getting to see and do new things that we might not get to otherwise.
